how do you check the fan is working? by turning the A/C on?

starting the car and let it idle for a while until temp reaches 90, fan should kick in, if not, replace the relay

and what do you mean by the car start to overheat? what temp did it reach?

What He Said ,and if the temp is 90 or a bit more, then don't worry, because fan will kick in after 90

1) turn on the a/c too see if the fan kicks in.

2) turn off a/c and let the car idle until 90 degree to see if the fan kicks in.

if 1=true, 2=false then is relay

if 1=2=false then check the wiring

if 1=2=true then maybe block coolant pipe, water pump or whatso ever

I have the same problem, I have managed to get hold of 2 new relays, whole new wiring loom for fan and new resistor, £67 from peugeot for lot (friend works there so discount included) Im going to try this too. my A/C doesnt make the fan come on either, however the fan kicks in when it gets to red at full speed.

looks like false relay?

since the fan is 2 speed, a/c normal turn on the fan at low speed only.

hehe Smile well im changing the loom aswell, had a problem where the wire had coroded to green so cut and snip and fitted relay and it worked for a while, I went on a long drive to wales and it stopped working, i have since had digital climate control conversion from manual a/c which looks smart, I just wanna use it to its full potential now!
