I got myself a hub from ebay, but the guy has sent the wrong side. I'm not needing the whole assembly just the hub. Is it easy just to take the hub out and replace it? Should it just pull out? i'm thinking it will be tight.

Not as easy as you might have hoped for..............You need access to a press to separate the hub from the carrier, in the process of pressing out the hub the wheel bearings will be destroyed, you will then need to fit new w/bearings on re-assembly to the opposite side carrier....

Edit......the actual hubs are not sided, they are the same either side.
