it must of got caught when my boot was full and one of the wires inside has snapped.

its not the boot light or central locking as they are both still working fine

any one know???

Basically for when the boot lid is open/closed. Just join the wires back up and they'll be fine.

i thought of the open closed option but it doesnt beep when driving like when a door is slightly open, perhaps it is an alarm sensor. i will fix it now i was just wondering what the hell it did

I think it may be your rear fog. It runs under neath the sill of the boot, inside where your wheel brace lives
