Fitting the DW10 from the 206 would be the easiest, because the sub frame should be the same/similar, so everything would just drop in. Then just intercool it

A little bit of a nooby question but I have the DW8 What engine is the DW10????? I aint to sure on the engine codes just the engines themselves lol

DW8 is the 1.9 D
DW8B is the 1.9D with an extra horse, bit more electrical and more efficent
DW10 is the 2.0hdi
DV6 is the w**ky 1.6HDi
DV4 is the 1.4HDi

Didn't know that... I'm guessing mine is that one because could never understand people with 1.9D saying it wasn't economical as i get 55 round town

If its the DW8 its the WJY engine code which in the the VIN.

If its the DW8B you'll have WJZ in the VIN

You'll need the engine, ecu and bsi & transponder if the ECU is locked.

standard is 90... can be increased to about 120 with intercooler and remap. pretty rapid Smile

With a remap on a hdi90 you are looking at 115-120 bhp, with an intercooler and a remap you can get 140bhp+ depending on the map

Ha thought mine was the dw8 but from chassis number its a dw8b yet its slow as hell and only does bout 35 to the gallon round town Sad

Intercoolers are a fairly simple fit yes, you can only use one if you have a turbo and what it does is allows air to pass through its alluminium viens cooling it with natural air movement just like a radiator with water. And the reason for it is cold air combusts alot better than warm in turn giving instant extra power consider it a huge cold air fed induction kit lol
