If one of the wires is snapped then when you turn the wheel it unravels and will hit other things rather than been joined to the horn, thats all the noise will be

Had a look, can't seem to find what you are after I have so much 206 crap in boxes.. if I find it I will let you know.

What happened was, where the cable had snapped, I "foolishly" bent the broken wire back on itself to keep it out of the way...but it needed to poke through the hole in the wheel, so I just straightened it out and now it's fine.
Just gotta sort the horn out and I'm sorted.
