I was hop[ing one of the mechanical geniuses on here might help me out my car is a 2.0 HDI Turbo 2002 Model.
The problem is i got in my car after leaving it in gear on a hill and driving home the clutch pedel had become stiffer when depressing the pedal?
My first thoughts where cable needs lubrication (not even knowing if its cable or hydraulic) but no i think maybe the thrust bearing is going??
Has anyone got any advice?
Thanks

sounds like bearing seizing up on the input shaft sleeve tbh. new clutch and clean up sleeve and lube should do the trick

if you're thrust bearing is going u will know about it. my old polo 6n had the thrust bearing go. and oh my god did it make some cringe worthy noises.
but if it does turn out to be the bearing, and it is anything like my old one, it will deteriorate very quickly, so within a matter of weeks you'll know if it is infact the bearing.
