i just measure my spare hub nuts, they are 35mm

There 36mm, Trust me i have had mine off twice in the last week. But you can somtimes find some aftermarket ones are differnt sizes.

i know its not gti but i just used my 32mm socket to change drive shaft and rear brakes on my XS

same socket i used to to exactly same on my old lx

Must be mate, the 34mm socket nearly fits, would think it would be a 35mm, but that's not right. f*** it will need to go back to Halfords.

Cant beat a large socket.

34mm, 36mm, 38mm I use a lot, 46mm aint used for about 6 months, 60mm will get some use in the near furture Laughing
