What would be the going rate to repalace a rear arm bearing, or a complete axel from the scrappy?
I think mine has gone, got a little play in the rear off side and it makes one hell of a racket at 50.

Second hand axles go for between £100-£200, Recon ones are around £400-£450. I wouldnt even bother going down the bearing replacment route.
Where in devon are you based? I can change one in about 1.5-2 hours and we charge about £40 an hour labour.

the bearing would could around 50-80.
but if the main shaft is damanged then you can't just replace the bearing because it won't work./

Why put "because" in red matie, I can read you know besides you dont know what the condition the stub pin is in until you take it off...
Good little learning experience to me, as good as lowering a car with a tiny bit more work :/

Little tap tbh, they come off really easy
Then chisel on the end of the bearing (both come out from either end)
Movement
