Hi,
I have read all the posts about painting the Brake disc's covers and drums but i was wondering... i have a tin of hammerite paint can i use that on the drums and disc covers ? or do i need to buy another type of paint ?
I have read post on the tinternet too and they all seem to think it works fine if not better then other paints

hammerite is fine to use. just mask the discs etc up well if your not taking the calipers etc off .

I did mine 2.5 years ago when I still had alloys on. WHEN the car's clean, the finish is still brilliant.

i wouldnt paint any pipes mate, certainly not rubber ones like brake hoses etc, they would probably flake aswell.

ok one more question how do i remove the calipers ? *or is there a post on here any ones knows of ? * or is it just easier just leave them on ?

this is a bit of a neewb Question ... but whats the best way to do this .... i.e can i just jack one side of the car up at a time and do one wheel or using jack/axle stands ... if using the secound option where do the stands go ?

this can be done 1 at a time, tip though. turn the wheesl to the right. give you better access to the bolts and rear of caliper.
