Car has been sat for a few months due to the delivery of my new lupo.
Trying to get it sorted to sell now and the engine management light has come on out of nowhere.
Car starts fine and will drive but revs are restricted to about 2500.
No other problems seem to exist?
Anyone have any idea whats up with it or a way to reset the engine management light ?
Thanks
Gav

Just needs a good blast tbh bud. Mine was doing it when I first had it but a few good blips of the throttle and it all went back to normal.

Also open the bonnet and at the back of the battery you will see a big red button press it a few times with the ignition on, its a engine reset button, and it will be back to normal when you start it mate

Tried all of the above but nothing yet.
Took it out for a blast, got it up to operating temp but revs are still restricted.
Tried the big red button with the ignition on and engine off, nothing, tried with engine running, nothing.
Cant think what the hell else could be wrong with it?
It was running fine before I got my loop...now this.
I did notice when driving that it pulls like normal but will only go to 2,375 revs in first and idle, closer to 2100 revs in 2nd and about the same in 3rd.
Im stumped
Thanks for the help so far though guys
