Hey Guys, Basically i had problems with exhaust so....

Cat was Apprently unweldedable by all garages i went too,

i had split in middle pipe all the way down and to top it off back box
was a hole where it joined onto pipe.

Cheapest quote after all the week i search was

£210 for decat
£240 for standard
£270 for sports cat

But money got tight this month loosing job so went to the missies mum and dads and got her sister boyfriends mechanic mates to chop cat out give me a centre pipe and weld back box up and seal it with black sealant *** for

£40 This good?
took him half an hour and while he was doing it i took cat in to be weighed and got 72 quid. so i was in pocket WAHEY!

System feels so much better, it accelerates again and pulls like a train in high speed/ gears.

Thoughts?

Fail even without emission test, no CAT = instant fail.

Nope Diesels are different from petrols on MOT test. You have to have a pipe that looks like the cat is there. So take the standard cat out and pull the insides out. As long as the emissions arent high then your ok.

An mot tester isnt allowed to get the spanners out and drop the exhaust to have a look inside.

Shut it u stupid little f**k, what's the point in posting in all my treads being such a c***? Least I can afford a gti180, and to get the cam belt done!

So apparently everyone knows my financial situation? If I wanted a 180 I would have bought a 180 simples Smile
