Hi, ive taken my idle control valve off to clean it as i think its causing me a rev problem.
anyway, ive got it out and am cleaning it but the little piston wont move, its locked in a position, should I be able to move it in and out manually?
there is a metal sleeve over the piston thing the I can push down but it springs back out to cover the piston thing up again as soon as I let go,
should it be locked in this position or freely work in and out-able if, sorry thats the only way i know how to describe it haha
thanks for any help in advance, MrrNoName

if it should not be this stiff thats probably the problem lol!

inside the black plastic is basically a motor. The shaft length is determined by the motor which spins the shaft in and out dependant on revs needed. So yes it will be stiff.

So other that a little bit of free play it won't move significantly.
