i had this before as i drive along the engine management light wil flicker in and of very quickly might take a few days or a fwew hours but will keep flickering untill engine has been turned off and on and some time still does it .
when i last replaced my plgs with super 4s it stoped doing it so about 2 months ago, but had a miss fire problem that turned out to be faulty and unrecomended plugs, now drives fine but 4 days after pug put new plugs in then engine mangment light is flashing again.
any sugestions i think could be coil pack? maybe? altho pug did test it and was with in its ranges

Get the fault codes read, only way to be sure. Buy a diagnostic scanner off eBay for £20 or so.
OBD2 IIRC.

If you're near me I have one, but if it's not showing on your readers doubt it will on mine. It does record data while your driving though if thats any use to you

smuddies, what is you experiance?
only reason i can put it down to coil pack is, is it did it when it had ngk plugs and they wer well shot, so got super 4's. turned out to be faulty but the light didnt come on just ran like a bag of crap this was for about 2 months. then took to pug to get it running right when they diagnosed plugs so got them to put new plugs in and gap them. ran nice 5 days later lights on again.
so i think its producing a poor spark, but becuase i had super 4s it was creating 4 sparks so wasnt setting off the light. but the champion plugs are duel but not creating a big enough spark?
its just my theory

When I had NGK's put into my engine, bwt 2 weeks later, had the EML light flashing, then asked what sparks he used and he said NGK's, so I swapped them to Super 4's, and all fine now...
Might just need a bit of TLC within the spark plug/coil pack connections!!
