£400 plus your axle seems very expensive!!!
There is a link in the previous rear axles topics, if you search the forum!

could you do a search? |
Yes, found them, but they seem very non-specific about which axles they actually have. The drums+ABS combo I need seems to be only marginally more common than rocking horse droppings. Also by the time you've added VAT they're more expensive than the ebay link (couldn't care less about having to hand over the current axle).

he axles come with new stubs ready for you to fit your calipers and carriers and wheel bearings, or shoes and drums depending on your model. These are not supplied with the axle, simply leave your old brakes connected to you car. Body washers, nuts, mounting bolts and mounting bushes are not supplied simply re-use your exisiting ones as they will be in good condition. (If you do require these please notify us with your order)
====
you know you will have to reuse all the ABS senor and etc on your old axle?
this makes no difference to abs or non abs/ plex or preplex. as long as the stud pin is for drum there you are fine.

Er, no I didn't know that. What I knew was that hunting round I'd seen many types of axle, disk/drum, abs/not, plexed/non-plexed. This is the second axle replacement, last time it took weeks for the garage to locate a drum axle that worked with abs, even though the brakes were swapped over last time too.
I kinda assumed that all this meant I needed a quite specific sort of axle....

plex and non-plex is only related to ABS sensor.
for easy bolt on job you will need to get everything right.
