Yesterday I drove my car a bit to erratically and i could smell burning clutch. The clutch stopped engaging and I was going nowhere. I managed to coast the car home. I have left it for over 12 hours now. I just tried to drive it and the clutch feels stiff, the travel seems shorter and the clutch doesn't bite. Is it a case of just leaving it for a while longer or am i going to have to get a new clutch?
Cheers for any help.

If its not biting you probably need a new clutch.

It bites ever so slightly but not enough so that i can pull away. I had a new one fitted 10,000 miles ago. Not looking forward to the bill!!!

You defo need a new clutch, pay a bit more for a 'quality' clutch kit this time.

Get a Sachs clutch. I got one fitted not too long ago... Loved it!
10000 times better than the one I had before!
For the little extra, it's definately worth it.
