car wont start!

Hi guys really need some help...

I set off realised my indicator bulb was out so came back as was only on the edge of the village and changed the bulb and now the car wont start

The electrics are fine and starter motor sounds like its starting but not making the engine tick over

im sure its not the battery

any help much appreciated

ill have a look at fuses under the bonet but dont think so :/

Is the starter motor turning the engine over? Not clear in original post.
If it was a front bulb, check all the connections under the bonnet, possibly caught a connecting block

it was a rear light

and no it doesnt turn the engine over sorry

btw checked all fuses under the bonnet and there all fine

Has your 206 got the big red fuel cut off button under the bonnet by the passenger side strut.

i lost my key over a year ago mattie Razz its not imobiliser as i had a problem with that a few weeks ago and then the starter motor doesnt even spool up lol

Is the starter spinning? If just clicking then could be battery or earth connection
If it is spinning, sounds like starter not engageing onto fly wheel. Give the starter a clout while someone turns the key

starter motor is spinning so sounds like that could be a problem :/ is this a permanent fix? lol

If it starts with a knock then probably solenoid needed. They can work fine for weeks then miss once, then work fine again and never have another problem with it.
Just keep your wheel brace handy lol
