My door catch sooms to be broken and my door swings opens really wide and its putting a crease in my door, anyone know what the proper name for the catch is as i have searched everwhere and it doesnt come up with the bit i need? thanks.

mine does it 2....i screw at everyone who doesn't open the door properly and makes the crease worse lol..

as said the check straps come off/loose, its what gives the door its 2 opening stages, half and full open, its a pretty easy job to fix but iirc they are rivited in

nah they only screwed in cost about 12 quid, take door card off undo the screws and put new one in done.

Yeah easy job untill the bolt cross threads its self on both sides and you end up having to take the door off and end up drilling out the nut.

Good character building though!
