Right I need to get a new ariel due to I'm fitting my spoiler tomoz. I'm thinking about getting a shark fin but iv heard that they have s**t signal but iv also heard you can get some with amplifiers on to boost the signal...... Am I correct or not?

Anyways, to answer your question, the Shark Fins are pretty useless to be honest, wont really get you much reception (Not the el-chepo ebay ones for sure)
The same goes with the likes of the stubby aerials too though, along with the bee stings.
The shorter the aerial the weaker the signal to your radio will be anyway unfortunatly.
You're correct in thinking they do boosters though I cant remember how much they are but they are around, can be found on ebay

I have a stubby and it's w**k, But look's good. I keep the original in the boot and put it back on when on long journey's. Saying that I mostly listen to Cd's anyway.

Stubby areial are cheap ti ive had a stubby areial on both my 206 and my 207 and to be fair the signak was poor in the 206, but then i never listen to radio as i had tons off cds and the usb plugged inti an aftermarket headunit
On the other hand my 207 has awesome signal with it on
Stubby arials from citroen are under a £10 and tht including v.a.t
