The general consensus is that they don't work, however I know that a few members have used them and claim to have positive results. 5th Gear tested some (not including Redex) and actually saw a loss of power.
I think it's down to personal preference, I put Redex in my tank every couple of months and it seems to increase fuel economy by around 5mpg average. However if you ask another forum member, they might claim it doesn't nothing at all, or is even detrimental to an engine

That's about 10% extra per gallon, amazing.
