Hi
I like to search before asking but my problem seems a bit different. In the cold winter (-5 centigrade) my car cut out as I was about to pull away from a junction, and wouldn't start until I taken the key out and tried again from there; leaving the key in and trying to turn it over didn't work. I e-mailed a Peugeot technician and he was kind enough to explain that the cold weather caused a blip in the bsi, which only gets reset when you take the key out.
Today, I just reversed onto my drive after an hour of driving fine, just as the front wheels were making it over the hump of the pavement and the drive it made a beep (the same beep as when you open a door with the motor running or the petrol light) and cut out, it started up again straight away fine with no engine management light. Temp sensor was at 90, and I have a quarter of petrol
What did the beep mean and why did it do that? Might I have a problem here?
Edit: Is it likely that the incline caused the petrol to run to the back of the tank and cause it to cut off? I usually don't have this little amount of petrol

The engine management light stays on until I start the car then it goes away, which is normal iirc
Do you think there will be any stands at FCS that might be able to scan it for me? Don't really want to pay dealer prices

If Lee's going he can probably do it for you.
If I go I can do it for you.

Thank you very much I will enquire in either circumstance
Does the fact that it beeped before cutting out indicate anything?

When my timing belt went on my 206 it made a bong noise like when you disable the autolights. I'm no expert though.

It was the same beep as the petrol light coming on, or opening a door with the engine on
If you were to attend FCS and could do it, how much would you charge? And if any codes come up would you be able to clear them for me? Thanks

I could scan it, find out what it was and clear it. Just buy me a cold drink
But I'm not 100% that I'm going yet. Will take the 205 if I do go...
