i havent been on here that long and i hear people talk about phase 1 and phase 2 cars and im wondering whats the difference?

Things that shout out are rear lights and rear boot strip.
Maybe front lights but not sure.

Phase 1 and 2 are primarily the "look" of certain features. Like the lights for example. Front phase 1 lights are cloudy and dull whereas phase 2s are crystal clear and you can see inside them. Rear lights are also different. Along with the bootstrip.
Not to be confused with non-plexed and multiplexed. That is in relation to the wiring and not the same thing.
