hi wonder if anybody can help with a problem i have with my brake lights, both left and right ones have stopped working but the 3rd one still comes on...ive checked fuses and bulbs all seems to be good...they are standard fit light units on a 1998 206
anybody had similar issues???

Check the brake light switch in the passenger footwell area. Little white plug.

my need to clean the connections into the light cluster? a bit of dirt could have got in it.

Doubt that as it's on both sides at the same time with different connections.

cheers guys i will have a look ive had the rear lights out and can say the connections between the connector and light unit cluster look ok and the different bulb holders all look to be in the same condition (indicator and lights)....
I will check the switch in the footwell (this could well be the problem as ive had a clumsy footed passenger in recently)

Must be a bulb issue, because the third brake light is powered by the n/s one
