I feel like an idiot, it took me 2 hours to do the clock. It was a true nightmare, when it was all connected the clock would just appear then disappear, I had to use tape to stretch out the wires at an angle. Yes, circuit was vulnerable... but got there in the end
Anyway... can someone use paint and edit imageshack.us/m/62/163...011463.jpg to tell me exackly what to do? Please... right now I need a drink from this.
Thank you.

Swop the red & yellow wires at the bullet connectors
Unplug both.
Plug the red wire in to the yellow one.
Then do the same again with the red / yellow wires left over.

Omg it was that simple... what! I tried doing exackly that before but thought this can't be it as you need to really pull it out with pressure.
Thanks alot, settings save now

Well I need a new clock now, when I turn off the engine for 5 mins then on again, the clock doesn't turn on so I have to open it up and push something towards the circuit. This somehow triggers it on and not when I turn on the battey with the key?
Circuit problem?? Need new clock?

Preplexed 206 like this, the displays always go wrong
You got just a clock or multifunction display?
There is a known issue with the solder joint on the pcb inside the multi function display
