I aint got a fecking clue
Probaly the handbrake cable switch below, wire have come out and shorted on the body

Fixed it!
Turns out it was a dodgy earth as everyone suggested
What i done was unbolt all the earthing points (bar 1 or 2), cleaned them with emery paper and checked for broken wires while i was doing it (didnt find any), also the earth at the bottom of the LH sill seemed a bit flimsy so i put a cable from the battery -ve to the earth point, worked a treat

nope didnt see anything but some of the contacts were a bit oxidised so was probably some part of the problem
