hi all, im currently putting the 206 back together and sorting all the little bits and bobs wrong with it....

the dials that were fitted were not the originals and some of the needles were damaged, i found a 206 in the local scrappy and removed the dials from that...

now i didnt see the pegs move but from swapping the dial faces over and reseating the needles ive gone from an empty fuel tank to something thats three quarters full and both the oil and water temp are around 70 degrees when the ignition is on, other than that they are either sitting on the pegs or as low as they will go (rest position).

now the water temp has a bit of a key to the needle (old needle had this cut off) and this was pushed in to its rest position the same as the fuel and oil temp, as soon as the ignition is on though it goes up to 70 degrees...

the oil illuminates in the dash and says its full then drops to 70 degrees or there abouts when its done its level check...

i dont know how much fuel is in the car as ive only driven it a small distence and then the fuel lamp came on so put a jerry cans worth of unleaded in... is the fuel warning lamp fed from a different location or is it a slave to the needle??

now i dont know if ive messed up with the needle locations or the previous owner has but is there any way of defaulting the needles?? checking there reading correctly??

if not its new clocks time haha.... thanks in advance spud.

any pics would be a great help.... will just brim the fuel tank when shes road legal and set the needle up to that or drain it now and say its empty lol...
