You should obviously pay bills before buying 'treats' for your car.
I thought that was common sense?

It's better to not owe anything and having a clear head than always thinkin about how much you owe (however I don't use my advice and buy things when a shouldn't haha)

Buy stuff for your car so when the Bailiff's come to collect it they will give you a compliment before they tow it away. Come on really? You say your getting old but haven't the sense to pay your bill's first. No point in buying thing's for your car when it's the first thing Debt collector's will take. Sorry to be blunt but it's hardly rocket science.

Don't get Bilstein B4's as they're rubish. I know because I have tried them.
Pay your bills for now then save up and go for something better..
