got no idea how old you are or how many NCB you got.

if you can only afford to insure the 1.9D i would guess you can't afford to declare any mod.

even your nimrod in your sig. you should have delcare it as no 1.9D will come with nimrod as standard.

save up money for servicing and mot etc.

until you can get something nicer.

the truth is 1.9D is the worse engine in 206 series, the worse mpg among the diesel engine and the slowest car as well.

there is nothing you can do with the engine. if you want the improve the handling you better save up some money for a new axle. being a 12 year old puggy i doubt the axle is in good shape.

unless you sure the car is in top conditions, otherwise it is pointless to put money into mod.

cambelt done? is all suspension component in good shape, without any play? got any brake pad/ brake shoe left? is the clutch got any life left?

Only thing to do is treat it like tuning a N/A petrol engine. You don't have the option of increasing revs to create more power though.
2001 GTi 138, Bilstein Sprint dampers, H&R springs, 21mm Peugeot Sport torsion bars, 22mm rear ARB, Peugeot Sport Group A wishbones, 283mm discs, Goodridge stainless hoses, Maniflow 304 grade 4-2-1 2.5" manifold and system, 200 cell cat, Richard Longman head, 45mm Jenvey throttle bodies, 9.5mm TB spacers, 90mm air horns, Jenvey throttle linkage, Jenvey fuel rail, Aeromotive and Goodridge fuel fittings and braided hose, ITG sausage filter, Radtec custom radiator, Piper Ultimate Road cams, Piper vernier pulleys, Omex 600 ECU. Saxo electric PAS pump, Vibra Technics engine mounts. Samco coolant hoses, TTV steel flywheel, 4.76 final drive ratio, 307 CC 180 ratios. 2019 BMW 530i. 2017 Mercedes C300 convertible.

no camshaft avalible, can't put ITB on, i doubt de-cat and backbox can give out any extra power at all. i am running out of idea Laughing

Can always get the cam reground to give some higher lift. Head flow could be improved.

ITB's only needed with long duration cams which would be a waste of time on a diesel.
