So my 99' 206 1.4 8v GLX has been sitting there for over a year, and I tinker when I get bored with other things, but now I'm determind to get it running!
So I had all your usual problems coilpacks, ecu, sensors, finally got it running and idling and it will take a rev but once you rev it to say 2500 and let off the throttle it comes back down to idle struggles for a couple of seconds and then dies?
Any ideas?

Did you both just leave the car with out ever switching it on? Or does that not make a difference?
Mine is off road at the mo, sorn'd, but every other weekend I run it for a bit.

Haven't got a pic but we all know what they look like. |
Being the picky sort - I really hate it when people say this. Yes we all know what it looks like - but we all want to see the condition that yours is in! | |

It wasn't a case of I never ran it, it was a case of it wouldn't run lol
So after a coilpack, ecu various sensors, checking my earths and for vacuum leaks, I'm so close to getting it going!
@iainlovatt taking it out for a quick spin is a problem as it's behind another car which is up on stands at the moment, and no mot tax, bla bla bla!

Use the bumpers then to "Bump" your way out!
sounds daft but go forward and backwards in the space that you have, a few times!

What cartoonhead said, you may have to flush the whole fuel system out, old petrol can turn to jelly and clog things up.
