Hi guys,

As I have posted before, I have a noisy waterpump which needs changing. I have been phoning around to get quotes for a cambelt and waterpump change and the cheapest I have found is around £230.

I can get the parts from GSF much cheaper, and have a 'How to' guide and enough 'know how' to change them myself.

But..... There are 2 types of cambelt, one with 104 teeth and one with 108 and i'm not sure which one. There are 2 different types of waterpump as well, again, i'm not sure which.
If anyone could help me on this, that would be great.
The car is a 2004 on a '53' 1.4 8v

Hope to hear back from you all soon.

Cheers Smile

Your cambelt just snaps it doesn't go over time, So maybe you got noisey power steering pump?? Not sure though just an idea

Every 60,000 renew belt or every 5 years

It is suggested that the waterpump is changed same time as the belt has to come off to access it

I thought this, or something related to the steering.
