I find it depends on what conditions are like.
If its a gravel rally the car might last several rallies, tree dependant, the engine can last a whole season
If its a tarmac rally I might get to stage 3 or 4 without a visit to the stage furniture but then engine would only last three rallies according to my new engine builder who thinks I may be a little hard on them

i have a 2.0 hdi and owned it sinse 10.000 miles it now has 135.000 miles on it and it was remapped the day after i got it 7 years ago. i hit 4800rpm every day and it is pretty much smoke free apart from the odd puff . only had oil changes and cambelt. brilliant engine will go on and on and on
