Multiplexed then.

What exact fault do you have?

Multiplexed clusters the needles do move down from 0 to a rest position when the BSI goes to sleep.

They also move up from rest to the 0 position when the BSI wakes up.

Yeah that's right ha ha but when it comes on the needle spins around and goes back to say 7000 revs then the next time it goes off it will shoot back to 5000 there's nothing stopping the needle spin

Start at number 1 & see if the fault is cured, if not move on to number 2, then number 3.

1) Reboot the BSI unit.

2) Check the wiring:

Instrument cluster blue 18 way connector:
Pin 4 - wire 9004
Pin 2 - wire 9005

BSI unit black 10 way connector:
Pin 8 - wire 9004
Pin 10 - 9005

3) Update the BSI software
