My Glx gives a chirps when deadlocking but has to be done within 2-3 seconds after locking bith button (1)

It SHOULDN'T chirp when deadlocking, your alarm system if trying to tell you a door / boot / bonnet isnt shut correctly |
Or you have a small bird stuck between the locking mechanism...

The alarm shouldnt chirp when deadlocked
Either a door / boot / bonnet sensor is defective.

Check the bonnet sensor is working.
Disable ultrasonics, deadlock / arm the alarm, wait 30 seconds & then pull the bonnet release handle

Should keep the battery connected and run the car for 10 minutes until its warm and runs ok every so often to prevent things blocking up. Amount of CAT's that get knackered because people leave cars stood still for ages is unreal
