I've tried putting tape around where the boot catch meets the latch on the car but obviously ovre time this tape wears....
would this:
cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBay...1438.l2649
be able to 're build' the plastic part that is worn for a more long term soloution?

just simply adjust the catch
(the catch on car) loosen the two bolts, move down, tighten up ![Razz Razz](images/smiles/icon_razz.gif)

It's not going to stop the boot lid rattling off the worn out rubber stop though.
Replace the full latch, it's only about £15.00 new from Peugeot.

seemed to work for me, probably had it quite tight or somthing,

lecy tape round the bit it locks onto helps also.
