I had a new Sachs clutch fitted about 3k miles ago which was in October 2009.
Whenever the car gets hot the pedal feels really creaky and not particularly nice to use. It's smooth when the car is is neutral but the problem is there when changing between gears or driving slowly in 1st of reverse.
Do you guys reckon this is the release bearing at fault? Or could it be the clutch diaphragm?

No noise but then you can't hear anything over the noise of the exhaust.

Is it a smooth change? Mine has the bearing rattlem and also creaks when i let the clutch up and down, can be heard better if done slowly. My gear changes are quite jumpy, and pulling off in 1st is rubbish.

How hard have you been driving it since the clutch has been fitted and the work you have had done to the engine ???
When you say rough when hot do you mean when pressing clutch pedal down feel like a notchy rough???
If so then it proberly the pressure plate fingers worn that the release bearing pushs and bit release bearing aswell.

Car has been given the beans a few times but in reality it's driven quite gently. You can't give it full throttle and full revs for too long anyway. A quick blast now an again but it's never had any sustained hard driving.
