Just wonderd if anyone will be attending totb this year at elvington .... maybe do a 206 meet up...more info below

Elvington Airfield nr York on Saturday & Sunday 30th & 31st July 2011 Multimap

This year's Ten Of The Best will again take place at Elvington Airfield, near York, and will be sponsored by Japanese Performance magazine (www.japaneseperformancemagazine.co.uk), in association with Millers Oils. It is an all action event to find the best all-round modified car in the UK. The three disciplines are; quarter mile drag, top speed runs and handling. No, there is no prize for the car with the shiniest wheel nuts.... This is all-action, and very serious

Saturday is a Boot Camp, and a test day for teams (if they want it )
If you fancy experiencing TOTB then join the Saturday "Boot Camp". Saturday the 30th of July allows you the opportunity to run your motor round our handling circuit or down our dragstrip. "Boot Camp" is also FREE for Sunday TOTB entrants so rub shoulders and pick up tips from some of our experienced drivers!

Sunday is COMPETITION day - with action from 10.30am. Gates open at 9am for spectators. (8am or earlier for stand pass holders) For more information please see TOTB site

If you are going to be on the MLR stand – you will need to be there early as they will not let you through to the stand once the action has started.

SATURDAY – ONE DAY tickets are £10 delivered (recorded delivery) and include a stand pass – although there won’t be much of a stand on this day – as the event is actually on the Sunday.

SUNDAY - ONE DAY Tickets are £15 delivered (recorded delivery) and include a stand pass - .

WEEKEND Ticket INCLUDES camping is £35 delivered (recorded delivery) and will also include a stand pass.

Tickets can be bought from the MLR Shop or by calling 084512 52623. All tickets are on a first come, first served basis, and if they are not in the shop - they are sold out!!!! - note, stand passes to MLR members and for EVOs only

Entry on the day is £20 per adult (Sunday) and £15 (Saturday) (and comes with public parking ), weekend is £40.

Head2Head wheelie machine, drive a Mazda RX8 on 2 wheels....yeah that's right! YOU can drive a car on 2
wheels whilst being coached by the Vertical Trix crew

Rally driving experience. Dare to jump into a Rally car and be driven by a top Rally driver round our pro circuit!

Helicopter rides are available throughout the weekend and off the chance to see the event from a birds-eye view!
