id rather walk than drive a scooby had a few in at work over the years and never seen a good one yet if you want 4wd turbo id buy an evo over a scooby everytime |
and i have never had a bad scoob, had 4 of the things so just about know my way round one by now.
Yep a evo is better but the cost are also alot more, parts runing cost ect ect ect (had a 7)
either of them will beat a gti 138 or 180 from a standing start but once rolling there is not alot between a 180 and a uk scoob, bit diffrent if your talking about a jap sti.
also both the 180 and uk scoob the same ins group (17)
scoob will be proberly be more reliable than a pug aswell untill you start to increse boost levels and go for that "bit" more , and thats the same with any "tuned" car be it scoob, pug, evo ect ect.
had a good mixture of turbo jap cars scoobs,evo,gt4st205,pulsur,sx200 s15 and yes there all good fun to drive but it don't matter what it is in time you gets bored and want a new toy.
the pug is as much fun to drive as any of them in fact proberly better than alot.
end of the day its all about the fun factor and as long as your happy with what you got who give's a monkeys ar** about anybody else.

seabook tbh i have never driven the s13 but the s15 was good fun especialy in the wet and rounderbouts but as the lads want them for drifting i was offerd silly cash so it had to go lol lol
JE-180 not suprised at all mate some of the old uk ones are now well wan**** and driven by utter nobs who think that just because they have a scoob they are the best out there.
they are only 215 bhp and with the 4x4 system that sucks alot of power you should at very least keep with them bit diffrent in the wet mind.
just too many of them out there nowdays as well pick a rough one up for under a grand nowdays.

The reason why i didnt chose a 138 or 180....
138's insurance quote....£2900
180's insurance quote....£4500
Audi TT's (225BHP) insurance quote....£1600
I know which Id rather have | Probably quite easy to afford £1600 hairdressing.
