i just faced that from early today and i had to close it manually, although the button is new but it acts like its not giving a signal to the sunroof motor, so it just opens but never closes and i am worried about if its a motor problem or some how i also checked the fuses and no fuse was burned... any idea what could that be

I presume you replaced the button to try & alleviate the problem? If that is the case I'd say the motor is u/s, or possibly a wiring fault on the connections to the motor itself.
