my fan seems to have gone, ive checked all fuses and all the swithes are connected, it wont come on and is causing the car to overheat, i have no warning lights but im unsure if there would be if it did go, can anyone shed some light on it?
and are all 206 fans the same if it is broke? it looks the exact same size as the one in my old 1.4 but im not 100%

Just wondering the fuse for the fan on my car, can't be seen until you pull the whole fuse box out of its plastic housing.(ENGINE COMPARTMENT)
there's 6 very large main fuses fuse no1 being the fan 20amp.
is yours like mine a small rectangular fuse box (18 tiny fuses) with a clip either side of the cover

onNo neither. First take the front grill off, (4 plastic studs with centre pins) Then take off the front trim panel (logo on) 2 plastic clips each side,
hold it to the wings.
To the left of the fan looking from the front, you will see a plastic cover for the relays,(3 plastic studs with centre pins)
A bit tight with your hands but manageable.

It's easier to inspect the wiring with the bumper off but you can get away without removing it.
