Hi peeps
my lil sister had an attempted car theft.
they have completley ruined the key barrel on the drivers side.
I was just wondering can you replace the key barrel without messing up the central locking etc? and is it fairly easier?
i am aware the old key wont work but will be far more pleasing aesthetically
thanks

You could go to dealer and order a barrel to the key number.
As far as I know, there should only be a link rod from the barrel to the solenoid. Most of the time they are only held in with a horseshoe clip on the inside of the door skin.

if you get a barrel made to your key mate it will be alot better as you can still use ikt. Also changing a barrel is a 5 min job. Just take off the door card, slide the horseshoe clip off and unhook the link rod from it. Then do the reverse to fit the new one
