I have looked on other threads but none really cover a detailed step by step of re spraying plastic I.e sp arches fro. The original paint to sanding prime ring then spraying and finally laquering.

Could someone please type a good guide to this. I have read the how to get a good gloss finish and read though some respraying badges to try get an idea but would like to know what grain of sandpaper I should be using and when? I have the assorted pack from halfords.

I know I'm gonna get a few people saying just search but I have and not found a break down of step by step including what grain use etc. Pleas prove me wrong if you like Razz

Thanks in advance! Just want my sp arches on before USC!!! SO EXCITED!!

Sand with 400, sand with 800, prime, sand with 1.2k, paint, lightly sand with 2k, clear coat, flat + polish.

Confused. How much am I needing to sand away? The whole colour so you can't tell what colour it's from? I just sanded one and thought it was good, wiped away the dust and it now looks untouched WTF!!! Just blunted a whole sheet of sand paper and it looks the same
