Hi all, i have tried to get my oil breather off to fit my induction kit, but i cant get it off. is this just me being idiot and give it some proper brute force? I have got the 'yellow' clip bits off of like the rocker cover, but where it goes into the kind of T junction bit, i cant get that pipe off... I dont know if that made any sense, am tying to find a pic as my phone isnt uploading for some reason. Thanks

I Cut mine off and turned turned the T peice around so the filter is attached to the bit that goes into the intake manifold. Then the actual pipe that goes into the intake manifold is small enough to fit in the hole make by cutting the other pipe, then put a jubilee clip over it.

No idea if that made sense Confused

EDIT:
I dont have anything at work to resize the image might be hard to see.

I remove it, then the I cut the pipe that goes to the filter off. I did this by shaving off layers until I could see the T pipe, then it pulls off.

The pipe going to the inlet I left it as it was, hence why I only had 1 piece of blue piping, but you could do what Abzynthe has done, and replace both bits.

Basically you wont be able to pull them off - they need to be cut off.

Haven't got a pic but we all know what they look like.

Being the picky sort - I really hate it when people say this. Yes we all know what it looks like - but we all want to see the condition that yours is in!

They are breather filters. I did it that way so that there isnt as much hot air sucked into the intake from the breather Smile

Push in the yellow button. Get a flat-bladed screwdriver and push it into the small gap between the hose and outlet. Twist the screwdriver and the hose will pop off.
