Jumped into my car today to wizz to the shops for munch...and i notice a low growly noise when i start my car...I notice it, but drive anyway as need to go to the shop. I get back, decide to go under the car and WHAM my exhaust has a nice crack in it. I found replacement for it buut i was just wandering how easy it would be to change?

www.cats-direct-shop.c...?ID=630515

That website there.. The part numbered 301288. The cracks on that.
So was just wandering what it'd be like to change?

Thanks in Advance.

It shouldn't be too hard to change but its best to get new clamps and gaskets while your at it. Just make sure you use a good pair of axel stands
You never really learn to swear until you learn to drive

So the car is stuck at the gf's with a hoorin noisy exahust now and waiting till wednesday to recieve the parts. Only problem is... I dont have any tools or anything that i need where the car is and i'm not too keen on driving it. So new clamps and gaskets and just tighten it basically?

Yeah as simple as that. I did mine yesterday. All you need tool wise is a deep 13mm ratchet, axle stands and a jack. Maybe a large screw driver to help you get the rubbers off.

I would suggest having someone there to help you hold it all in place while you tighten it as it can be fiddly on your own
