On the transmission of a BE4 gearbox from a GTi, anyone know the layout and function of the three wires. I am trying to make a digital processor for stage distance and time to work from one.

Its all on stand alone ECU. I have a bare canvass mate. The rally trip computor needs a pulse signal. It can input 5volts to the sensor and has a wire from the pulse terminal and a -ve wire. The problem is I can either use an old ABS sensor on one wheel to feed it a pulse or use the gearbox sensor. I just dont want to fry anything

I'll have a look to see if I have one in the shed to see if I can see them.

Dunno if I left it on the engine when I sold it or not
