Hi Guys,

the mrs 206cc roof does not work, I've plugged it into pp2000 and the error I'm getting is

Sunroof
Permanent fault. Time for left and rightlocked boot loss of contact.

does anyone know what this means in English??????

Its one of two things, either the pump is faulty, or some micro switches need replacing. Most likely the latter.

The fault is a result of the car not knowing what order it should operate the roof open/closure in and stopping the action so it doesn't cause any damage which is why I would think it's a faulty switch(s).
Check the boot switch and parcel shelf one

On a side note make sure your battery is in decent working condition too just to rule that out.

oh ok i was kinda hoping it would be more specific that that but hey ho, fault finding micro switches it is Wall Bang

i think the parcel shelf one works as when is not pulled across the roof wont try to work and beeps at me.

is the boot switch one by the catch on the car or is it in the boot lid?
