I've not posted on here for a while but I just had to share this.
My 180 needs a new back box and was thinking of going with a Scorpion but a local garage has managed to source me an origianl Peugeot 180 back box for £197 fitted.
Out of interest (and for a laugh) I gave my local Peugeot dealer a call for a quote on a 180 Back box fitted. I couldn't believe what amount they said it was going to be. I thought being Peugeot in would be around the £400 mark but oh no the total amount, with fitting was,
drum roll...............................£572
I then asked how much for the part alone........................£540
Extracting the Urine is putting it nicely

Look at it this way, at least the cost of fitting is quite good

I knew a Peugeot dealer would be the most expensive but that price is a bit ridiculous

I'm gonna be honest with you.
I'm not sure what's more ridiculous; the fact that the worlds most crappily made exhaust is £590 from Peugeot, or that you are still going to pay £197 for said crappily made exhaust from somewhere else.

I know what you mean bud. Like I said I was tempted to go with Scorpion but I heard they had bad build quality and I'm not keen on the Janspeed as it to loud for my liking.

Scorpion has a lifetime guarantee, and although the Janspeed is my preferred choice i've never heard of problems with Scorpion systems.

As far as I know, you cant get an after market exhaust for a 180, other than the likes of Janspeed & scorpion.

Someone on here had a hole in the Scorpion exhaust they had.
But apart from that I've only heard good things. Janspeed is a bit loud for my liking.

my exhaust was £70 for backbox and middle section fully fitted from an exhaust garage
£570! what a stupidly high price! I wonder how much they want for a full exhaust system inc cat.. lol
