I only want the rear lights to come on when dipped/main beam is on, is there an easy way of doing this?

Because I am using side lights switch as day lights and new side lights stalk to operate side lights alone if that makes sense.

Yer cut the wires that run to the rear lights and connect them
To the main and dipped headlight circuit Laughing (I would use a a relay to do it)

Or why not connect the side lights to the switched live on the car so they come on when you turn car on, don't need to touch rears then, rears will just come on when u switch to head lights.

Does it really matter? It's not like you're gonna notice?
Also would it not fail an mot like that?
Seems completely pointless to me!

What He Said

100% pointless mod.

100% MOT fail.

Sidelights / DRL in the daytime just look 100% s**t

Not sure what your trying to do, but I'd leave the factory wiring alone & use the 'new side lights stalk' to operate the 'day lights'.

Decided to do this instead that way it shouldn't interfere with MOT.
