hi everyone, my mate has got an lx model and the battery light will come on when driving and the power steering plays up. does anyone have any ideas on this. cheers dan

Slack auxillary belt? The alternator and power steering run off it.

Check the tensioner pulley. Might as well change the belt and tensioner anyway. Cheap enough.
