hi av heard that my car cutting out everytime i come to a stop and the revs keep dropping could be the purge valve. could someone please enlighten me to what this is and where it is

it's called Purge Canister Valve,it's located on the engine bay,close to the fire wall,drivers side,it's color is dark brown,it's job is to open when the evaboration of the fuel from the tank increase it open so that the evaborated fuel goes to the engine and get burned,and then close again,and so on.
