GTI180 ESP controlling throttle and brake. But not just them. It also send ecu to decrase ignition advance. Ignition retard lowering torque and that recovery method for wheelspin.
PS:
Generaly I dont like TC but ESP works very well.

I saw a Fifth gear test of the new Focus & Tiff was moaning about not being able to turn the ESP fully off
Ive driven 2 different cars with ESP fitted.
Mk 5 Golf = brilliant ESP system, you can have fun.
Astra mk 5 = crap ESP system, its far to lazy to cut in & lets the car get seriously out of shape before it wakes up & tries to help out. |
The Clio ESP is awesome, only activates when really needed, doesn't dull down the power to much, and if you switch it off its off
