I was driving the other day and i saw that my engine coolant temp started to rise very quickly and the oil temp was rising as well. I immediatly stopped straight away. i looked under the bonnet and the seen that the pipe connecting the radiator at the bottom has totally come off. This is the 1 that takes the coolant from radiator into the engine. After a bit of a struggle i connected the pipe back. ( the flexi pipe from engine and the and radiator) I have refilled the engine to the normal limit with water and coolant but there is still a bit of a leak coming from the joint. Is there a seal that would be in the joint because it doesnt seem 100% water tight? (there is a drip coming direct from the joint) the pipe has no splits and the radiator seems fine. Also ever since this has happend the car has been running really rough between 1k-2k revs. after that it seems fine. any 1 got any ideas?

it has a sprung clip holding it in and an "O" ring.... you have to remove the clip, clean the joint check the "O" ring is ok and I use vaseline on the joint to help it seat.... then refit the "C" clip
